When looking up in a dictionary the meaning of the word motivation an example is given as "the enthusiasm for doing something" or for motivational "giving you motivation" using celebrities as motivational speakers has worked particularly well in the presentation and power point presentation business for a number of years where clients require more than just an after dinner speaker which can be entertaining and occasionally speakers use license to slightly change the truth on some stories to give them a humorous edge!

Motivational Speakers

However the role for a motivational speaker is to try and motivate the audience through his or her presentation. It is accepted using their celebrity would hopefully educate and provide something the audience can learn from and put into use in their daily or business life when leaving the presentation. Audiences will take notice of a celebrity and it creates a bit of glamour to what some would consider a mundane event. Sometimes the celebrity will be used as a vehicle to actually get people to attend an event.

Football Motivational Speakers

One of the best football motivational speakers was Jack Charlton who managed to take an Irish football team and turn them into World Cup legends. It made Jack a cult hero in Ireland. When Sir Geoff Hurst asked Jack how he worked out how to differentiate between a motivational speech and an after dinner speech he replied that he would just provide his after dinner speech! Jack would write five words on one hand and would get his "motivational speech" from those five words. Standing ovations across the world have acknowledged Jack and the quality of his motivational speech.

Business Speakers & Motivational Speakers

As a company we like to feel that the motivational speaker would provide something of an educational slant to their presentation. This can be topped and tailed with some light hearted stories/anecdotes. A lot of our customers are more than happy with this type of presentation particularly if the celebrity speaker is following a number of in-house or serious business speakers that have really driven home the key messages. When a motivational speaker is booked from this company we can provide a questionnaire which asks a number of questions about the presentation, who the audience is, the message that the celebrity needs to convey to the audience and some back ground information on the client. More celebrities are including a power point presentation although some conference organizers are able to put together a presentation about a celebrity very easily using footage of the celebrity in action.

We look forward to discussing your motivational speaker requirements with you whether it be for charity fundraising, a power point presentation, an award presentation or as an after dinner speaker with a touch of motivational messages within the speech.
